Hey all Im selling one of my older comps and I need to know how to price it.

The monitor, keyboard and mouse are all a joke so just the tower itself.

    120 GB HD
    2.4 GHZ
    756 DDR Ram

Not sure what else to tell you, ask and Ill find out.

    Any prices though?

You need to state how old is the computer, because computer equipment depreciates very fast. For eg, I sold my computer 6 months after I bought at 1/2 the price. No choice as newer and faster chips keep coming up.

    120 GB HD
    2.4 GHZ
    756 DDR Ram

Seems quite old to me, maybe a two hundred dollars or somewhere in that region.

Your expectations should be around there, at least you are realistic, I had seen some crazy offers wanting to sell P3 at such pricing :)

Good luck on your sale, maybe you should try Ebay, they do have some weirdos bidding some crazy prices, if you are lucky you may end up selling much higher. Cheers!

Yup have to agree with wisdom on this one. Try ebay start the auction at $100 and see where it goes. They got some weirdos on there that might pay over $250 for it.

In all honesty, you will be lucky to even get $100. It is so hard to sell one that old. Most people can go into Walmart or best Buy and get a whole set up for $399.

Sell it on ebay and see what happens. You can try craigslist after that.

There was this one guy down in montreal who sold a snowbank for $5200! I have so much snow around my house, so that values mine at atleast $20,000.

    I'm rich!

I have read a story about how a guy exchange a paper clips on ebay, through many exchanges he ended up with a house! Anything is possible on Ebay, you may end up trading your used computer for DP hehe
