Pricing for Baseball articles?

Discussion in 'Copywriting' started by LastLevel, Mar 15, 2007.

So I got 22 articles I wrote on baseball related topics. I fetched up good keywords for them too and they have a keyword density of 4-7% but ALL QUALITY!!!

I was wondering what I would sell these for, what is the rate for bulk content, not the stupid PLR articles...

    Thanks

It really depends on how much you think they are worth .

I don't expect to wait for a major company like the MLB to come - what could I sell them for here?

    Thanks

If they are really quality, good buyers here might be willing to pay upto 3-4 cents per word for your work. You will find lots of willing buyers if you price it at 1-2 cents a word.

There are people who pay more than that, but in general, that is the maximum you might get.

Normally I get .03-.05 (sometimes hire) for my work but I just want to make a quick sale :D - I might try constant-content ;)

Hey Wordsmith - two things: No guaranteed sale, and most of them aren't 500 words (lowest is like 396 highest 630)

There's usually no "guarantee" in the business world. If you write for a hobby and not as a career, then you probably don't care how much you sell them for.

If you're simply looking for a quick sale, try advertising to buyers here on DP. I'm sure you'll end up with an interested buyer or two.

Asking for pricing without showing a sample is like asking someone to purchase a house based on a two-word text ad (buy house).

As Denise pointed out, posting a sale thread here would be a good plan.

The price you set for your articles will depend on a lot of things. But, quite simply, you should price the articles competitively based on the selling price of similar articles - similar quality, similar length, similar audience.

I know that I am not going to reveal secrets to you but I personally think that one thing is worth as much as the people intend to pay for it. Yeah, this does not answer the question. Try to conduct a research. Find out what amount of money people would pay for such articles. This will show you the asking price for your work.

    Hope this helps

    :)
