Hey , guys , most of you already known that i am web programmer, and I am looking for a few days for some good domain name to develop , I also made lot's of POST about this on NamePros/DigitalPoint,etc... but you won't believe what prices 99% of the people are asking me for "regfee" domain names I think that this guy is a good example http://www.namepros.com/domains-for...cellent-coms-sale-greatly-reduced-prices.html Were should I go ?! what should I do ?! to get nice offerts of domain names tha are really worth 10k++?! (and not because of theire PR,traffic, etc, etc , but because of their name)
In the thread you posted, the guy is just a joke. He has no idea what he is doing and just trying to make a quick buck selling trash. I still didnt quite understand what your looking for though? If you looking for domains to buy goto Digitalpoint's domain forum, sitepoint's domain forum, or Dnforum.
I know many say that Sedo is decient but take to long in the escrow part of the deal. I know many have also mentioned Snapnames. Which is apparently much better than Sedo. And if by reading the thread you have provided is where this person sold most of their domains. Btw - I am surprised that Mortgaged.com didn't sell for more. But cool price for DebtRecovery.com though. My feeling exactly.
Hi softgroups, Part of the problem is that there is no standard way of appraising a domain name. Everyone thinks they have the best domain names. And what someone thinks is worth $10k may be worth only $100 to someone else. And who's to say which evaluation is right. I have sold many domains myself. For example, some months ago, I sold phone-system.org. Look at this name. It isn't a dot com, it has a hyphen, it has two words...most people wouldn't give this 'ugly' domain a second look and brush it off as a mediocre reg fee name. Yet, I got 4-figures sale for it! I was looking at recent domain sales, and saw that TheKid.com sold for $13k, EasyStore.com sold for $12k, OrganicTea.com sold for $11k, & WindTechnolgies sold for $10k. These are actual sales that took place last week. Question is,would you have considered any of these domains as $10k names? One other suggestion I have is, if you could spell out what kind of names you want, you might get better responses to your posts and maybe stand a better chance of finding the kind of names you're after. Like, do you want single word, dictionary names? Or two-words OK? Dot com only? Brandable made-up words or specific keywords? Any particular niches? Hope this is helpful. And I hope you find what you're looking for. I'll send you a PM with some useful info.
