    Hey all,

Sorry not been on here for ages, I kind of fell out of love with the whole internet bloging world.

Anyway I ploded along with my main blog and left everything else to rot (may have been a mistake or maybe not) time gets in the way.

Anyway what do you think is an acceptable amount to charge for a stand 125x125 box on blog getting on average 2,000 - 3,000 uniques per day with around 5,000 ish page views. 95% UK traffic.

    Any rough ideas???

its only worth what people are willing to pay.... place a ad over in buy tade, sell, though why not use the space for affiliate links/ads

    Hey, thanks for the reply

Blog is 2nd signature link, as you will see I already maximise the blog for my affiliate scheme, I just wondered if there was a going rate, however I presume people are PR sensitive, and will weight the price willing to pay on the PR of the site and not the traffic.

Due to hacking when I was on servage, google deranked me, and I have been unable to get pr back.

I see some blogs getting $600 per month with less traffic than me, but I am not expecting that!

It's worth what the buyer will pay.

Start low then raise your price as you attract advertisers. Advertisers determine the real value.

My sites are small so until I can attract advertisers myself I use Adtoll.

It might not bring in loads of money but I think it will be better than nothing. :)

I think it might also be a case of how much do you think your space is worth?

I'm a newbie at this sort of thing so I'm just shooting ideas and thoughts. :)

Let people make offers for the advertising space and you will soon get an idea of what the space is worth.

I agree but there probably would need to be a middle ground. It's a four year blog with thousands of post and a lot of my personal time and effort put into it. So of course I would value it very highly!

Maybe I will put one blank box on and invite offers for the space for a period of one month, and then see what happens.

I've seen blogs with about the same amount of page views going anywhere from $25 to $35 dollars and sometimes even more if the blog covers the same niche.

I think you should charge at least $15/month ($30 if competitive niche and/or high PR)
