It probably makes more sense to concentrate on the "value" of links from PR0 to PR8. Impossible to really put a price on a PR10.

You really really really need to specify. If you are talking about the inherent value of a site on the open market, based solely on it's PR (say, if, it didn't earn any income), or if you are talking about monthly text link ad rentals.

The only way your numbers are even ballpark is if you are talking monthly tla rental, in which case they're just way wrong. PR1 - PR8 is WAY too high (those prices are even too high for purchasing permanent one way links), PR9 is way too low, and you will never find PR10.

I was just making a point ;) I didn't seriously think anyone would offer such links for that price :p

25 Posts in this thread already and no prices that I can see so far that would be say a benchmark figure re value

Thats only my opinion so far in the posts I have seen here to date

Thats cuz the progression is too linear. It should be more exponential. Also, no one defned if its a monthly price or a one time price as those change things dramatically.

I would say PR10 would cost more than $10,000 .

It's time & the ability to keep purchasing and paying for existing links.....

dudes, there is no price on a pr, but on a PR link or a website that has a certain PR that will effect the price$. i would say that 500$ for a pr10 site link is around right.. maybe $600 per month. :> what do u think?

What do you mean by benchmark?

I assumed (perhaps badly) that we were talking about the "value" of a purchased link on a page for a period of 1 month.

And it is probably silly to talk about PR9 and PR10 - I should not have included it in my post.

    Like a benchmark

With a High Price for a PRX

And a Low Price for a PRX

Then one would expect to pay somewhere between the low and the high price

I know it is not that simple but someone might have done the maths on Highs and Lows

If we don't ask we will never know:cool:

I don't know why everybody keeps thinking I am talking about the value of a link.

THE VALUE OF A SITE AND ONLY THAT SITE. No outside influence like traffic etc. ONLY THE PR

And not to be a jackass but I would appreciate it if you guys could argue and post comments that have nothing to do with what im asking somewhere else.

Oh, well then that is just silly then. The value of a site based off PR?

Okay, I will unsubscribe - sorry for "trying" to add value to the discussion.

Its actually not that silly when you see what I will be doing with the info.

And again... Its just really annoying when you start a thread asking for some input and people argue with eachother.

Well, I'd accept 450 a year for a link on my (PR6) homepage. If that helps...

Look, dude, this is not a thread about how people act on forums, or what annoys you. You really need to stay on topic. If you can't, then maybe you should just go start a thread of your own and stay out of ours.

You are obviously incompetent and have no idea whats going on here. This is a thread I started asking for information and people started arguing with eachother. I politely asked them to do it somewhere else instead of my thread so I could "stay on topic."

    Bone head.
