Hi guys, Can anyone give me an idea of what would be a fair price to offer a copywriter for a long-term job. It would consist of posting two news-style articles of 200-500 words each on a website each week, the content of which they would have to find and research (nothing too complicated, investment related). They would also be expected to tag and twitter, digg, reddit etc them. thanks
It really just depends on the writer. Depending on their experience, knowledge, quality, etc. You could find one writer who would do that for $10 a week and another who would charge you several hundred. Both would be fair based on the merits of the individual writer. Also, it sounds lie you want a content writer rather than a copywriter.
I agree with Prinzel... However, if you are looking for cheaper writers, you can find them here. But quality is always be the priority... Gabe
I'd try to decide how much you feel your time is worth and go from there---how much or how little money will it take you to be motivated to work on the project when it becomes a drag? That's a tough one to answer but every time I neglect that factor, I regret it...
Depends on the writer.. But you should pay more if you want god quality.. So do not search for cheap !
You're looking for an article writer, not a copywriter. 1. Post a thread on DP stating what you want. 2. When you get your PM responses, ask the writer's rates. 3. Don't go for the "cheap cheap" writers - you'll regret it. 4. Reply to the medium to pricey writers - check samples of their work to make sure quality is up to scratch, check their iTrader ratings. Then based on this, make your decision. Hope this helps.
If it is an easy job you can pay $3 per 500 w. for bulk orders. Just post your ad on content creation section and you will find quality writers for that price.
Hi If you are looking for a balance between quality and price, I can offer a solution. The writer has to write in good English without mistakes and plagiarism issues and needs to understand a little of social networking..! I could do it for $25 a week. www.anilkumarpammidimukkala.com www.seo-copywriting-online.com regards anil
The best to find it is through quality analysis on the work of the writer. However the probability of negotiation over rates is higher when it comes to LONG TERM projects
Absolutely, you can see my samples by clicking on relevant links at seo-copywriting-online.com/services.html regards anil
I think you should ask for quotes from copywriters. Check who fits in your budget, and have them write a little something for you. Pay each of them. Use it somewhere, and then whoever has created effective and creative copy just as you had wished to find can be hired at their given rate. You can use all the other articles for directory submissions for your site, or simply use it whenever needed since you'd have the rights to them.
From my bad experiences with cheap writers from this forum I strong recommend you to go for experienced writers tha offers you more the contact details than an email (phone number, IM) so you can get in touch with them no matter what....and offcourse go for writers with high itraders and with the ones that can offer you samples of work they done. And off course you need also little bit of luck to find just the right person Good luck
i agree with what others says... it depends on the writer... but of course quality is still the question... for me my rate for that is around $3-$5 per article...
If the article writer is pretty good then you should be paying him 1.5-2$ per 100 words. But well, it depends on how the writer is, what are you using his articles for and are you outsourcing your work, etc...
When you hire a writer, you're not so much so as hiring them just for the writing, but also for their research skills, marketing skills, turn-around time, communication skills, etc. If you have a writer who can produce high quality articles within a reasonable deadline and who knows how to achieve results, you're probably going to have to pay a bit more than $1 per article. As many have said in just about every reply, it depends on the writer. The question you have to ask is: What would you pay for a high-quality and information 300 word investment article with social networking benefits? If the answer is "not a lot" then I suppose searching forums for "cheap content writing" is where you'll find your writers. However, getting to network with some people and learning who has the best word-of-mouth marketing is important. It's quality versus quantity versus turn-around time. So, What are you paying for and what do you want to pay or what can you pay?
