Hi, We've just started a new tech blog about 2 months ago to try out some NEW marketing techniques. It started mearly like an experiment, but he blog has become successful... It has some nice content and so far it gets like 300-400 unique dailys (And increasing!). Also, the blog has lots of related & non-reciprocal links, it's being featured in a lot of social bookmarking sites, it ranks #1 in a lot of keywords and keyphrases AND we have about ~150 feed subscribers. Note that these numbers increase day by day. Quite a success for such an small company like ours We are planning to release a service of paid blog posts, 10 Dlls. Each post! Considering the statistics already mentioned, does it seems outrageous? Should we lower the price, or increase it? Thanks in advanced!
It's okay paying for someone to blog for you, but how much do they know your niche, i.e. technology? I'd rather pay someone a higher rate for quality, well researched blog entries, than get someone whose going to visit Digg and copy content and not be original.
No, we are not offering to blog for you... We are offering for an entry in OUR blog, meaning that we could do a review of your site or product, like "We tried out xxxxxxx.com and it seems very nice and neat, go check it out! Here are some pictures...." Is it more clear now? Thanks in advanced!
Yes, $10 or maybe more for post in a *relative* new blog, (But with some interesting stats)... But we want some feedback. Is it too low? OK? Too high?
It could be worth the money, if it was a full page review. If you just say "this site is neat", it will look just like all these auto posts that forum spammers like to upload.
It was just an example ... It will be a full-page entry (More than 250 words and some images) following the same style like the rest of the entries, so it wouldn't look spammy or look like a paid-entry.
