i want to start one business like that, but i have to purchase reseller, the original site offers each of this service for $3 and sell each of the reseller site for $2.50 the range at which other related sites offer each of their service is between $2-$3 i purchasing a reseller was planning on offering each of the service for $5, but when a lot of other brands offer at $2 and with just one search you can find them at this price,do you think i will succeed with $5 or i should reduce it to what, $3 brings basically no profit from a $2.50 investment

I think it's too tough wars in the reseller pricing... so don't really recommend. won't probably make a difference.

instead, can you somehow create something more unique than anyone else?

As people have said below you need a unique selling point to even consider opening any business. If you dont you'll find going extremely tough.

    there's no unique price $5.

I'm thinking that if you have any customers right now, you have a good price. I think the price won't matter at this point. If you have a good service (you are not overselling and ensuring that the server is up and speed is decent), then you can put some price that is a good for you.

what I'm thinking as unique is more like... how about having a web hosting service based on demography. For example, I believe there's not a single "webhosting service for women". You can pick any niche: "webhosting for photographers" or "webhosting for martial artists" or whatever. Then figure out why your webhosting caters for certain niche (perhaps photographers need more space and free templates to get started).

    That's just one example.

But if you are like the 7 million other resellers who sell their hosting for $5... (or $1 or $2.5 or whatever) then why would I pick yours?

you said something unique and through your example it will be ridiculous to set the product to be bought by maybe only companies (by your example me making a webhost for companies only )
