Price Comparison Script?

Ok, i gave yoy a very simple example...

For examples for merchants, on merchant Create Account, we need to add a merchant VAT Number, it's possible to change in a encrypted script the inserions of this VAT Number inside databse and change the php files to can store this VAT number on db???? I don't think!!! But please let me know if it's possible, this VAT Number is a very important Item, because we you do any invoice you need to include this VAT Number on invoice...

I too am interested in picking up an open (not encrypted) price comparison script that provides the equivalent of what Kaon Softwares' scripts do. I'm dying to pull one of these apart (we are going to alter the scripts significantly anyway) to see what they're made of, especially on the scalability front.

I noticed a few of you seem to be selling a custom script or site that does this: yogi_awt, linkers, gpyong and shopquiz - if you're still selling a product that reflects my request above, please let me know.

Nightfly, Upncomer and freno_money, if any of you have any insight to scripts/apps you've used at this point, I'd be very happy to hear it! Any successes?

Pricetapestry is a great script. It's too much money for some beginners though, i recommend datafeedr, its an amazing wordpress plugin / script and so so easy to use, they have flexible plans too from 1 site - 27 dollars / month to an Unlimited Site Plan - $97/month (5, 10 site plans too).

The support on the forum is 10/10 - Eric and Stefan are top quality guys

In my opinion, as a user of Price Tapestry I think it is a good choice. I have bought the script and I can say it is very well coded and works great. It is fast and can handle more than 100.000 products and unlimited feeds. Data feeds are easy to get from CJ or other affiliates and there is a way to automate the process of downloading the data feed and updating your website using the script and some Unix crons.

Also, David, the man behind Price Tapestry is the nicest guy in the world and a PHP guru that helps you with any PHP customization you want and is feasible to do.

The script is SEO optimized and does really make money, especially when targeting a niche. For example niches like GPS's and video games work well. One thing I would like to try is to use downloadable products like Wordpress themes but I don't have the time for it. Actually I'm thinking of selling my account, so contact me if your interested.
