I believe that lots of questions like that have been asked, however I can not find it after trying some times of searching, and this question seems so silly for somewho. But I still have to start my question!
Ok, as we know the creators of those site are already now billionaires, and I have a great wonder that behind the main purpose of the site, how can they earn money? such as why Google had to use a great amount of money to buy youtube? This seems coming from the impact of these sites on the online community, is this? so the page view No is the key, here??? This leads me to the question that if a site stands on the 10, 50, 100, 500 and 1000th stably according to Alexa.com ranking (this is believable?), what will be the price of those sites? And professionally, by which factors do U usually price a site?

Thanks for those who help me know one more good thing!

Hi Soccerplayur012, Is it possible for U to tell me more? Since I read some topics and I found that the revenue is not the main reason, some sites have the price of ten times the monthly income??? It is very modest! Am I right?

Well, since I never will buy a site like Youtube, I base off of Revenue.

For a much larger site, potential comes in to play, as well as uniques/month and all other applicable traffic stats.
