I had got my new site indexed for all its pages a week back. But now when I search for the pages of my website then google does not show up(it was doing so last week!).Only my home page shows up and not the rest of the pages.

I had earlier made a post on this matter and someone said that it is due to the fact that data might have not been updated at all google's datacentres.
Its already a week and I still find my previously indexed pages not coming up in the database.

Kindly give your opinion in this matter and also let me know how much time should I wait for to get stability in search results(I know that I am very impatient but anyway please do help!)

I also use google sitemaps,so may be is it of help in any manner in this particular matter?

Google is still really messed up at the moment and even using their search is starting to be a headache - the results I am getting for things are just crap.

I think Matt Cutts quoted something about 2-3 weeks so who knows?

Site Maps have been known to cause problems on other websites. Try removing it (don't destroy it, just take the files off the server) and see what happens. Also check you aren't using a robots.txt file (these regulate what search engine "robots"/spiders are allowed to crawl). If you are, see if it is excluding any pages.

    Good luck

Let your website site - do not add/change anything until things settle.

I know it's bad advice, but it's the truth... proof: www.dochertybookmarks.com - indexed and ranked in one month, no links, no content.

I agree as long as everything is setup correctly you should come of this mess looking good, hopefully. Just keep adding your content etc as this is a problem with Google and not us, well for the most part anyway ;)

If your site is still doing bad after they fix the results then start making the changes needed to get you back, sit tight and keep an eye on any news.
