Previous clicks violate TOS

I started my adsense account a while ago right when I got into being a webmaster.

I had ads run on sites like a proxy that I now find out violate the Adsense TOS.

When the click audit comes around at $100, I don't want my account to get banned.

    Any recommendations?

How did you violate TOS ?

If the sites are not violating TOS anymore you are fine.

Ok so, even if some of the clicks that are logged are from sites that violated the TOS, as long as I have taken those ads off I'm good?

Honestly, the best thing to do is contact them. You may/may not be able to determine whether or not they will audit your account before payment, but you can email them explaining the situation and admitting fault/promising not to do it again.

I did that - I used incentive traffic to some of my websites (pay-to-surf sites) a long time ago, before I knew/realized it was against the TOS - I wrote to Google, and they thanked me for bringing it to their attention, audited my account for the invalid clicks (about 20$ worth), and then just asked me not to do it again.

If you're worried about it, and are promising not to do it again, contacting G wouldn't hurt, as it's not like it's going to tell them anything they wouldn't normally already know anyways.

I would try giving the company a ring and letting them know of what you have done. I'm sure they'll thank you and make the necessary adjustments.
