"previous" And "next" Links Not Working In Category Tags Wp

    I'm using relatively new Wordpress template "appliance" and have had issues with category section ie: "next" and "previous" links not showing. So I simply removed category section on my site. However, if you click on a tag, which brings up all relevant posts, still no nav links appear. Any ideas would be really appreciated. TIA
