Could there be a system that before a person is able to post for services in some sections , he is required to pay a small sum ( 1$ ) to be verified by DP ?

That would be really nice .
Coz this month i have been duped more than 160USD .

I don't think that can prevent scam. If I were a scammer, I wouldn't mind paying $1 to DP and ripping off $100 from a member. that's IMO :D

Very true, this won't prevent all scammers.. especially the ones who scam large sums of money. Doubt this would go through.

I agree that it would not prevent scammers not to mention the time it would take to do it. You just have to be smarter than the scammer. Do not fall for deals that are too good to be true. If it is not normal ways of doing things, make sure you know the person you are dealing with. Most scams are performed by offering something too good to be true like quicl money for no work or an exchange of money with 20% increase just for exchanging.

If you lost $160 this month, you need to be more careful, if it is too good to be true it is!

I agree with the suggestion only if the members pay me for verification. Also, all the current members also MUST pay me. Along with this, I wont be taking any guarantee about scams(for which I will write a Terms & Conditions)

    I agree,
DP is an open community and webmasters forum, B/S/T is just forum as well, nothing related to prevent scam IMO,

The best way to prevent scam is to look at their trader rating and if it is zero or low and you are going to buy something with large amount of money, then you should re-consider making a deal with that person.
