preventing hotlinking quick question

So i'm wanting to prevent people hotlinking files from a certain directory on my site by using .htaccess

I found this and would like to ask how I make it only target a specific directory on my site, for example if I have a directory called images would I just change the mydomain.com/ to mydomain.com/images/ or is there something else I have to do?
