I got a problem where newbie web developers trying to copy my html source code for both adsense for search and adsense for content, is there a way for me to tell google not to serve ads on those domains/pages w/o my control? they place my search boxes on their sites to look cool, but google will kill me ... help help!
No there is not a way to limit the ads to a specific website. If your code is copied and pasted with out your approval and you find out about it, I'd email google.
I've emailed Google about this issue in the past and their advice is to contact them about sites using our AdSense code without our permission to protect our accounts. I've suggested to Google that they should give us the ability to declare what sites can legitimately display our AdSense code. Maybe if enough people ask for this ability Google will implement it. I always thought this would be the perfect way for Google to dectect site scrapping and other fraudlent sites.
Is there a way to do a search to find out if someone's put your code on their page? A Google search on your Pub ID won't work, right? I tried it with my own ID and not even my own sites/pages came up.
There is no way to stop ppl from copying your adsense. I would just inform Adsense. They will tell you what to do.
This happened to me once before where someone copied a whole a site. I emailed Google about it and at first they said to contact the webmaster directly. They did eventually block serving adverts to this site when I explained I had no control over what they put on their site and couldn't guarantee the pages would remain within their TOS.
In cases where another site copies my content in this matter I send a DMCA take down request to their webhost. Often times this results in the site being shut down completely. So for your example the problem could be resolved using this method (assuming you owned the copyright to the content on your site).
phpadsnew show adsense code with their own Javasript code that mean hide original adsense code. Is it Ok with Adsense TOS? Thanks a bunch
You would have to ask Google to get an official answer, but my bet is that this would be considered a violation of AdSense TOS as you are not allowed to modify AdSense code.
