If you own a dedicated server, and you are annoyed by Script kiddies DDoS-ing your server, then its time to do some server hardening!!

Well, My one of my sites was getting DDoS-ed continuously ( checked using netstat ) ..1000+ connections from some IPs!!

So I did server hardening and the DDoS attacks were blocked automatically!

I have made a blog post, and i want to share this all with you.

Note : its for servers with Linux OS installed only!

See the below URLs. It has been very helpful. If you plan to install firewall, do remember to install only one - either CSF or APF.

Weird, anyone else getting a 403 Forbidden error when trying to access this? Maybe my University's IP address is banned for some reason? :(
