prevent all outgoing mail from a particular account: urgent help required

    How can I stop all outgoing mail form a particular account?
    I use a linux server with cpanel.

    If the server is cpanel based, there is no direct method using which this can be achieved.
    Are you trying to block the outgoing mail when attempted through php as well?

    just block smtp port 25 to prevent any outgoing emails.

    why dont you limit the outgoing mails for that account?

    if you have serious reasons to do so in case of mail abuse for spam etc
    what about simply deleting that account !!
    that would be my action of choice
