    I am selling my old proxy site prettyproxy.com

    The site is currently offline as is the case with most of these proxy sites as many hosts do not like them due to high cpu usage. If you have your own server or are allowed to host proxy scripts then you are in luck!

    June stats: in first 11 days the site got almost 1000 uniques!! then the site was suspended by datacenter for high cpu usage.

    Extra note: I would not recommend this type of site to a newbie. proxy site are difficult to host unless you have your own server or your hosts allows these types of site. So if you have no idea what this site does then stay away. This auction is more for the experienced proxy dealer.

    Hi Chris, to be honest I have never run or owned a proxy site before but am interested in it. Do you mind if we set it up as a trial site on our server (you keep domain just point IP to our server for testing) and see how it affects the other sites there in terms of performance with bandwidth/cpu etc. Its a dedicated server, but your post makes me wonder how intesive it can be. If you are okay with this trial test and it works ok, I bid BIN now and will take it off you hands. LEt me know, cheers!

    Yes, I am fine with that....actually if you look through DP forum, this is how I got this site of someone else....but the site has grown a lot in traffic/PR and earnings since then. It does not take up that much processor power but if you host many of these sites and thay all attacked 10000 visitors per day then you probably will have a problem....but one site is fine. It's just that datacenters try to restict these sites before too many of them popup and take up all the processor power.
