    Hi all,

    Newbie here!

Set up a site in October and whilst it's going pretty good up to now, I wondered if some of you can suggest anything else to get me going good and proper?!?

    October: under a dollar
    November: around $25
    December: around $35
    Jan: around $75

Is this any good? Is it just a case of getting loads of traffic now?

I'm a newbie too, my adsense earning is less than a dollar per day, I don't blame adsense as my website has limited traffic, but what i find strange was that recently I have eg, 8 clicks to my ads and was paid for only one click? In case you may be wondering, I didn't click on my own ads.

Its the trend I like. If I my site replicates your trend I will be more than happy. My site is month old. Just got into Zeal as well. Should do wonders for backlinks and hopefully Google search.:)

If the same ip clicks on your ads with too little time in between, google will count only the first click.

Zeal is a large website directory like DMOZ. But you need to fill out a survey that takes a lot of reading and about 30min of your time to have a chance of getting listed. (last I checked anyway)

Hmmm. I'm already in DMOZ. Is it worth the effort to get "Zeal"ed?

In my opinion it's not. Better use the half hour to submit your site to a bunch of other directories and the effect will probably be greater.

Hmm... It's a start, but it all depends on how much traffic you get. If you put any effort into increasing your search engine rankings, you shoudl be able to pretty easily get 100 visitors a day. At 100 visitors/day, if you set up your page correctly, you should be able to get a 15-20% clickthrough rate easily.

So... with that said, that's 15-20 clicks a day. We'll say that you'll probably get .15 a click or $3.00/day

    $3.00/day x 30 days a month = $90

And that's if we're being ultra conservative. Typically clicks are around a quarter a click. One of my sites is getting about $1.50/click.

Plus, 100 visitors a day is also very conservative. If I were you, I'd shoot for a goal of $500/month, which is most definitely attainable.

    That's what I'm aiming for!

I've also got another site - if I could get the same with that, then I'd be more than happy.

I'm looking for some software to help with the SEO - anyone got any good suggestions? (I've not got a fortune to spend....:( )
