Is it o.k. to distribute your press release through more then one distribution service? (for the same press release) Or should you just stick with one distribution service?

Any reason why you would stick with just one? Or is it just an opinion?

I run a PR firm, and regularly submit through multiple outlets. There's absolutely no reason in the world why anyone should tell you to limit yourself to only one. You should submit to the Associated Press (www.ap.org), and any local media manually if possible. As for distribution sites, if you're going to upgrade somewhere, there's no "need" to generally use others... when you upgrade you ought to be getting the distribution options you really need anyway. But it's certainly not going to hurt you, and might expose you to people who browse those sites themselves looking for news. Submit to as many as you want... just know that it's not necessary, so don't put in so much time with smaller unheard of services that it becomes more hassle to you than it's worth. :)
