Press Releases: possibly draining adsense revenue pool?

    I'm considering writing some more press releases for one of my content sites which runs adsense.

    The releases I've done so far have driven some decent traffic to my site, but I noticed that many of the sites that pick up the PRs have Google adsense running the same ads as my site does.

    This is a fairly small, niche market, so I'm thinking that a lot of the potential revenue could be getting drained when the people read the article on the original site where it's posted.

    Has anyone experienced something like this?

    That sounds like a neat Idea. I tend to write some content as well. Can you expand on the idea some more if your willing to share.
