Press Release Service Recommendations

Has anyone used a press release service? There are so many that you can find on the Internet, and I am guessing that not all are created equally. I would appreciate it if anyone has any recommendations or names of companies to avoid.

I too recommend jhmattern though we have not hired them for PR, she is reputed member in this board and active around.
