AGS- You are in England? I wonder how many Americans died to ensure you are able to spout your nonsense? I guess we should have stayed home, and not interfered with Hitler's plans.

Hey relax guy, we (the British) have lost many troops over there too (especially in Afghanistan.)

The whole Middle East problem is a disaster, based on us being lied to and many more British and American troops will die over there in Afghanistan/Iraq for nothing.

    There will be no "victory."
There will be no happy people welcoming them (the troops) back with flags and parades.
It's one of the biggest disasters since Vietnam mate.
I am all for getting the troops out of there.

P.S What has Hitler got to do with this disaster?

The invation of Iraq was based on LIES, there is no doubt about that. The troops will be over there for at least the next 20 years because the neocons realise the importance of Iraq and all it's oil. It makes me very sad because the world is not one single bit safer for the occupation of Iraq by coalition forces.

I found an interesting blog that is written by an American soldier. He wrote about an experience he had when he came back from Iraq and confronted some war protestors. He said,

"I explained to them what I did over there. They said it was a fool’s war. I told them that it wasn’t and they were being misled with whatever political slant or stance they have with it. I told them that we needed to have stability in the Middle East and Iraq was the prime place for it. I told them that like most people, we did the right thing by going in Afghanistan. However the Middle East needed to have stability. I explained the strategic reason why Iraq was the prime place. I told them what countries borders Iraq and how it was the center piece for that area. Saddam needed to be taken out regardless; he was a ruthless leader, etc, etc. I explained to them that the knee-jerk reaction to 9/11 included Iraq. It was just a matter of time.

I said to them that if they thought this was a fool’s war, then what about the next conflict? Is that going to be another fool’s war? Should we let the people depict what is a fair war? Should we hold votes to decide what kind of war is right for the US? It doesn’t work like that I told them. We are given the rights we have for the sacrifices of men and woman who serve our nation. I told the younger guy that it is a privilege he has to be standing on this bridge protesting the war and our government. I said you know if he were in Iran he would be shot and drag through the streets. I told him how dare he say he supports the troops but not the war that I nearly died in?"

    His blog is at: http://www.soldierlife.com/

I like Bush but he's not strong like Barbara.

Thanks for starting this thread to keep us informed of all the good that Bush has done for the US and A. Like making sure Kerry apologize for insulting our troops. Rooting out the terrorist in Iraq who was involved in 9-11. Destroying the WMDs in Iraq. And bettering America's relations with the world. Providing the basic necessities of clean water and electricity to Iraqis. Removing a dictator who kept his country peaceful.

    High five!

    1) the 600,000 figure is the most statistically accurate measure of casualties done so far

Rooting out the terrorist in Iraq who was involved in 9-11. [IMG]
NONE OF THE 19 HIGHJACKERS ON THE FBI LIST (RELEASED AMAZINGLY QUICKLY CONSIDERING THE GOVERNMENT CLAIMED IT HAD NO IDEA THE ATTACK WOULD OCCUR) HAD IRAQI NATIONALITY.

Destroying the WMDs in Iraq. [IMG]
    THERE WERE NO WMDS.

And bettering America's relations with the world. [IMG] [IMG]
    THAT'S DEBATABLE.

    Gworld,
I just want to make sure I have this straight. The purpose of your post is to insult the intelligence of this soldier?

    1,737 hits.

That is uncanny because it is almost exactly the same amount of Iraqis being killed every 2 weeks in the George W Bush "War on Terrrrrrrrrr."

It may be politically incorrect ot say so but the fact is some soldiers are "intelligence challenged".

Lots of mujahadeen supporters in here the past day or two. Some aren't even pretending not to be anymore.

    Yay terrorists!

Suddenly I'm in the mood to listen to Cindy Lauper's "True Colors."
