But there is a bigger picture than the Bush´s. They are only a small part in the issue that involves the whole planet.

I agree mate Bush is only a bit part, there are far bigger fish than him, but he hasn't helped.
That was the point I was trying to make. :)

Well ... me and quite a few people in this world do believe he did. Not saying he found the eternal solution. But he has helped.

I didn´t expect you to agree with me ;) But just because you make mistake fighting a cause doesn´t make the cause bad.

I like DM, saw them live in 1986. But if they were to run the US or any country for that matter, the world would go to hell in a handbasket in no time flat ;)

I thought you believed that the sun revolved around Bush until couple of month ago.
It is funny how fast people leave a sinking ship. ;)

The ship is not sinking. I simply acklowledge that Bush is not perfect and makes mistakes. You have to look at the big picture and judge his presidency by that.

You are right, it is not sinking, it is already on the bottom. :D

I took your advise and looked at the big picture and the best word I could find to describe his presidency was disaster.

I can't believe anybody still stands up for Bush. Ive read through this thread and even his fans can't come up with some specific policies that have benefited the country.

Oh yeah, he cut taxes and dropped some bombs on the bad guys. Amazing achievement.

Couldn't agree more, the lack of support for him in a support thread tells its own story.

A few peeps here think that I bash Bush unnecissarily, I only bash him because he is an absolutely useless bastard that has done nothing in his tenure except make the world a far more dangerous place with his sheer god damn arrogance and incompetence, taking orders from Cheney (the real President ;) and other above them.)

The legacy of Bush will still have far reaching effects long after he's out of the White House, he's been a disaster and it will only continue when the Democrats get in in 2008. And like father like son (GW and daddy) the next will be the Clintons (man and wife) following on the misery for everyone.

Hmmm... So... if the last 20 years were "disaster", and you expect the next presidency just as bad, who do you think would be the most appropriate person for the position?

All I care about is the mistaken killing and the bombing, the rest is up to the American Electorate.

No killing and no bombing followed by years of bullshit is all I ask for.

Well that's where the problem lies. Whether Republicans or Democrats are in all the bullshit will continue, we are actually in a no-win situation.

Even in the UK we have a big fat useless bastard called Gordon Brown who is set to take over as Prime Minister from Tony Blair next May (ish) virtually by default even though nobody in the UK voted for the fat fucker to be Prime Minister.
His competition is called David Cameron who is equally as useless, it's a terrible situation for us British to be in.
