There are hundreds if not thousands of ways to build your list, but over the years I found one way that I think is in the very top and it's by using online presentations. I'm new to the forum so I though I would share how I do it here and if you have questions feel free to ask. Now I use Powerpoint for both the squeeze page and the main presentation. Doesn't have to be great. The last one I did this morning for my next training is only 4 slides and all it does is just tells people on the squeeze page what they will get if they option, that's it! I then use Camtasia to record it. The key is to have a great microphone. I use Yeti from Blue Microphones, but if I travel since it's large I just use the standard plugin microphone that comes with my laptop. I upload the video on Amazon s3 (not youtube). This takes a bit of learning I have to admit, but it's worth it. I recommend on the registration page to auto start. I tried both and if you don't start the numbers go down. Split test it, for me that is the case for you it might not be. The option is aweber single option but if it's something big then double option (for presentations it's usually single optin). The cool thing with presentations is they hear and see you (they see a picture of you) so there is a small buildup of a future relationship. I'm sure people can hear you and your tone. That is important and I think shows that you are real and that you care and people want to know that. For me it's one of the best ways to build a list and also you are perceived as an expert which then leads to mutual JV's and that is where the real money is. But this is how I get some of my best JV's, they start with a presentation that someone liked. It doesn't have to be great, just get it going and improve.
