Hi, guys, It had brought me thinking for quite long without an answer. Maybe here some one can help? I am running PPC campaign through adwords. My landing page is a presell one, which is very similar to the one mentioned in this post http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=861159 Basically, this landing page warms the visitor and encourage him to press the button, which will take them to the merchant page. I know it is the only purpose. The problem is how I can integrate an option-in box with this design without turning it into a squeeze page. It is apparent that opt-in form needs to catch some sort of attention from the visitors, which contradicts the main purpose of its original design-to press them to click the button to jump to merchant page. Thanks David
It is very possible. I have done it with a WP theme. All you have to do is find the right theme and put the autoresponder code somewhere near the top. I try to put opt-ins in most of my sites. Good luck.
Just simply tell them if they want more info, or whatnot, they can leave their e-mail address. You may want to consider putting this near the bottom as most of your visitors will not go back up to the page again, and the bottom of the page is where their eyes stop, so.... No offense, man, but does this really need to be said?
