Im wondering if anyone has thought about using prepaid cards before and if anyone has any info on them.
Hi Gloria, I have used these in the past. They are ok but should really only be used until you can get the "real thing". Although most promise that they can be used "exactly like" a normal credit card, the reality is that with most their are plenty of restrictions - for example for adult verification online most do not work, also when booking flights or placing deposits on hotel rooms some of my friends have had problems. They do the job for paying for things like domain reg and hosting etc, but I would advise that asap you get the real thing to avoid getting caught out when your prepaid card begins to show it's differences from the real thing.
