Preorder question/ revenue earned!

I am linking to an item that won't be released for a month....I got a few orders last week, and noticed today that several had been shipped, when the product definatly is not out yet...

...I checked and it showed the shipped items were for items I was not even selling! How did this occur, as I am now getting a commision on this!

 

If you refer someone to the Amazon site with one of your affiliate links, anything they buy within about the next 8 hours you will get credit for. A cookie gets set on the customer's computer.

 

I know what your promoting and I hope your not using any trademark terms in your promotions... Amazon will not like this if (when) they find out and will terminate yrou associated account along with holding your commissions earned....

Ahh yeah mate i know what im talking about. I know what your promoting and all i was saying was be careful as amazon knows and watches for inbound links if using any cpc so either wash your referrer string if you are using trademark names say in a domain (ie redirecting from the trademark domain). Trust me. I now have to transfer several valuable domains over to amazon because of this.

I dont know what methods you are using to send traffic but just be careful if using a domain specific for this product.

FFS mate I aint gonna spell it out here. I know exactly what your promoting and all I was saying was be carefull because they will ban your ass if you are using that "XXXXXX" trademarked name. Let me guess it starts with K and ends with e? Ring any bells?
