Premptive Paypal Refund When Selling Ebook?

Discussion in 'PayPal' started by ScoTech, Oct 12, 2009.

I have begun selling an ebook using paypal for my payment processing, and so far so good after 20 sales. I use dlguard, so I know when a customer has tried to download the books. I have one customer that has not tried to download the books after 4 days, and does not respond to email, should I refund them, just to avoid a potential dispute or chargeback?

Agree... no need to refund him unless he asks for a refund. You did what you were supposed to do and the download is available to him.

Problem is not yours, His. and it is good to set a time for 24 hrs. the link you give could work. Many wise people do this. because, its cuts the misuse of the download later time.

Thank you all for your encouragement. It turns out they are really slow at getting to their email, and had troubles downloading the products because they didn't know how to use their MAC. I thought MAC's were supposed to be the easiest computers ever.
