Hello All. I was just wondering what someone might say my current project is worth right now. I am considering selling it off at the beginning of the summer to refocus on client work, but I am not sure yet. Please feel free to share your appraisal. Thanks! About the Project The website in question is www.markettheme.com. Market Theme is a premium Wordpress storefront theme which sells for $55 for a standard license and $150 for a developers license. The theme design, coding, and site design was all done by myself. The theme went live on February 25th, and quickly has gained steam. Below are the revenue breakdowns for the first 2 months. Quick Domain Stats: Registered - Feb '08 Pagerank - None Yet Backlinks - 384 Revenue: February - $100.25 March - $2,034.67 April* - $2,696.43 *Obviously final figures for April are not yet in since there are a few days left in April. Total Revenue to Date: $4,831.35 Expenses - Only on going expense is $5/mo for E-Junkie to deliver the files instantly after payment. So as you can see, just about $5k has been earned in 2 full months. The theme is still growing. I am currently advertising on Logopond (month long ad) and Smashingmagazine (month long ad). The outlook for this theme is very promising, and I have some additional features I plan on getting completed before any potential sale goes down, only increasing sales. If the site / theme rights were to go to auction on June 1st, assuming May continues the current revenue pattern, what would you value the site at? Thanks in advance!
