Just send paypal an email about this and they will take care of it or you can open up another paypal account Paypal allows 2 accounts per person 1)Personal account 2)Premier/business account
If you contact them it tells you that your account has already been upgraded. I want mine reduced you.
You will need to contact them to do this. Also, note that this can be done ONLY once for the life of your account.
You need to mail em and they will downgrade it AND you can do this only once. Also, a person is allowed to open 1 personal and 1 premier/business account so may consider opening a new account instead of downgrading this.
A slightly different question from the OP: let's say I decide to register a new Personal account, how do I get it verified? Do I need another credit/debit card for the account, or can I use the same one that was used to verify the Premier/Business one? Thanks.
i also dont like premium accounts, eat too much fees and since i earn less in paypal, it bugs me a lot
You can send them a fees but each account is only entitled to only one of such "reverting back" change.
Just make sure that you are no longer planning to sell anything if you opt to downgrade to a personal account since you are not allowed to sell anything with a personal account. Because if you do sell with your personal account and Paypal finds out about it, you will need to pay fees for every single transaction even if it is not related to sales. https://www.paypal.com/helpcenter/m...lutionTopic=20004&solutionId=12797&isSrch=Yes Fees is what Paypal alive to offer you their service. If you do not like their fees, you should look for some other alternatives. Or just incorporate their fees in your pricing so it is past on to your customers.
No, I am saying that you just incorporate the fees in your pricing, as in set the price of your product and services higher than the paypal fees. I am not saying to include a surcharge for people using Paypal and without a surcharge for other payment methods. Just set one pricing which is comfortable to you and that should be alright. It is like if the Paypal fees is $1 and your basic cost for the product is $2, you should not sell your item for $2 but consider the paypal fees as part of your cost and price your product for anything above $3. You then offer the price you are comfortable to everyone irregardless of how they pay you. You should not set the $1 as paypal fees. I am sure that the supermarket when they sell any of their products would have taken account of all the possible fees and charge standard pricing no matter whether you pay by card or by cash. As long as you do not include a surcharge or provide a discount thus not discriminating any customers, you are fine. No one would ask you how you derive at your selling price.
