Want to concentrate on my writing (20 years experience) and am listening to potential offers. Currently, I own and operate http://www.flows.org - the domain, itself, is quite valuable.

I'm putting this site out there to see if any serious buyers exist that want to take this domain/site to the next level.

-3k search traffic per month
-45 (average) visits from Wikipedia
-Adsense earnings of $215 (September), $676 (October) with November to be determined.
-177 original articles, many which I bought and paid .03 - .05 per word for
-PRWeb traffic (link from a major medical discovery press release to an accompanying article)
-Sahifa template (built for Adsense)
-gets great organic traffic from 'Daily flows', 'the flows', 'party themes 2013 (#1 out of 308M results)' and many other keywords which I'm too tired to list....

Offers I would entertain would be somewhere around 6-10x Adsense average + $225 for domain and content (domain appraises quite high, and will become rare soon). Hosted with Host Gator - I'd turn the entire account over to you.

Not at all, my friend. In fact, I'd be somewhere between $1600 and $2k. Heck, the domain alone will sell big for someone - AND I'm offering 3 months of ongoing support and development for the buyer. Realistically, that's about $300/month minimum being given away for nothing. I'm asking far less than the storied flipping site would give me - which avoids me getting double commissioned (theirs and Paypal's).

 

Did you buy any traffic for this site out of interest?

 

From here? I got a test package from an individual in October, but it never materialized - so they were never used. I spent roughly $25 on five Fiverr gigs, which produced well for me. A $25 investment for killer Adsense returns isn't too shabby - and, of course, Adsense TOS were never violated in the process.

By and large, all traffic is driven from social media, Wikipedia, organics, PRWeb.

What are the traffic sources? The Google backlinks are not promising.

 

I get ridiculously good organic traffic, Wikipedia traffic, PRWeb traffic, social traffic, direct, type-ins, referral. I've put little effort in creating backlinks, yet still have a pretty decent amount of strong ones. Had I actually put effort into backlinking, the price would be much higher than I'm asking.

 

Hi there, I like the site, its very pleasing on the eye. How many articles are from people going through the "We want your story" section on the website?

 

29 to date. The only part you may entertain tweaking is extending the form to allow people to have full credit for their work. At this time, posts created through that section default to administrator's name.

It also comes with two additional themes: Max Mag and the Newspaper theme (forget the name of it - kinda looks like an old-school newspaper).

Please be aware that this (now) banned supposed owner of the Flows.org site owes this writer $25 for content posted on the site and written expressly for this site, back from the Thanksgiving holiday period.

The owner stated his name as Dave Goehst (dgoehst@yahoo.com) however a prior WHOIS check of the flows.org domain suggests that Roger Kowalewski is in fact the owner.
