Premium Publishers allowed more than 3 ad blocks??

I have noticed some changes made to Chris Pirillo's blog in that he has added more ad blocks, and they aren't referral ad blocks either because they would say "Referral Ads by Google", they just say "Ads by Google". And usually when you put more than 3 ad blocks on a page, the extra onces don't even render out so Google stops them from showing up anyway.

Since Chris Pirillo is a premium publisher, perhaps they have changed the rules and allowed even more ad blocks.

Just take a look at this blog post: http://chris.pirillo.com/2008/03/29/the-open-source-community-project-named-gnomepal/

This post, along with every other post on his blog now has 5 ad blocks! Now, he was already making a killing before, I can't imagine how much more hes making now, plus he's now running DoubleClick CPM ads now!

Has anyone else noticed this change in the number of allowed ad blocks?

Who cares. Premium Publishers are allowed anything.
That's why they are "premium", right?

Premium Pubs are even allowed not to put "Ads by Google"

I heard about something like you can take Google permission upon deep review (and you have to be a real premium publiser) and get your ads customized..the way you like, etc. Things that starters can't even think about (TOS). But Google certainly provides things behind the scene for big boys.
