Do you think .... in the coming days / years , we will all be premium publisher ? google will allow us to remove the "ads by goooogle" and make 100% blending with the site so visitors don't know they are visiting an ads ?
they wont... currently, they allow high volume publishers to restructure their ad links as you see in popular high traffic sites. not recommended : if you want to remove "ads by google", then just delete "_as" string in the ad code. but this may result in a ban!
i dident say i want to remove .... i'm just hoping that all of us will become premium publisher ........ maybe one day
I will approach from another point: Future of adsense.. Possible directions. I think google will give (and most probably "will have to") more flexibility to the publishers. As far as i see the most important problem with their advertisement service is MFA sites currently! Webmasters do not want them! Users do not want them after clicking them! Real advertisers do not want them too! The only winner seems to be the MFA sites and Google And if this continues, i dont think the winner will be MFA sites and Google. I think there is only winner here: MFA sites. So in my opinion, if this problem is not solved, people who click useless ads (MFA sites) will think Google ads are just like the banner ads of early advertisement programs. That is right that the new internet users will be around too.. But if other services (Like MSN or Yahoo ads) handle these MFA sites better than Google and give competitive service to webmasters, then webmasters may go to other services and people may start to click other services more! So what can Google do to solve this problem: they can give publishers more flexibility by allowing them to ban those sites (currently there is a strict limit in that functionality because google dont want publishers to have the power to select advertisers as far as i see!) or develop a technology to detect/remove those MFA sites. In my opinion, giving developers enough power and respect is the correct way even it is not seem like so clearly! (so why google give their developers extra chances that other companies do not!) In my opinion, in adsense terms, developers are the webmasters. So by improving flexibility in adwords instead of adsense, google is approaching to a usual but not-smart choice.. (M$ showed that success (=money) is possible in that way ) But as a summary, adsense is the best international PPC system! Their service quality is almost excellent and seems to move fast. They are innovative too. But in my opinion, there is a balance problem between the power of adwords and adsense users. This is why MFA sites appeared as far as i see. So Google may give (and i expect this from them) the power of current premium publishers to other publishers or may not. But i think they should if they want to keep their power.. It is just like "A Bug's Life" film. One ant may not be important but they should control the behaviors of whole ant colony And by the way, i am not the misfit ant..
slightly offtopic, but i just love the way how well the premium publishers can integrate adsense into their sites eg : http://www.theserverside.com/news/thread.tss?thread_id=42372 If you cant find the ads..its right down in the "Related links" section
Dude, if everyone becomes a premium publisher, then there would be no such thing as premium publishers, because everyone would be the same.
