The Other person would need to give you his paypal login and password or you would have to give him your DP Id and password.
I changed it already to one of the previously suggested colors (a brighter green for the default style). And a different blue for the blue style. The pink(ish) color was my clearly failed attempt at being lazy and somehow making a color that would work with both skins so I didn't have to write extra code to display colors based on style. But whatever... it's moot now.
Hey the new color scheme looks professional and it matches our default theme One thing since we all are used to green so this shade of green is easily acceptable by eyes and it matches with theme as well as compared to pink. Good one
So we also lost our blog link next to our username due to this premium membership? Are we going to be charged for everything that we use on DP now?
I know I'm gonna start to sound annoying now, & maybe it's just me.. but the green still doesn't blend well with the rest of the site? It's minty? Although I do admit I was relieved to see it as opposed to the pink.. But it's nowhere near our palette, I suggest #D9EED2, can we still change it? The non-gay looking color with the arrow (#D9EED2): Will not cry if nobody listens to me.
Yeah, I don't *love* the new color, but I like it better than the one you suggested. The one you suggested blends a little *too* much. The point is for them to stand out somehow. What I'd really like to do is be able to set a background image on a <tr> element, but it doesn't seem like that's possible with HTML standards. Boo!
Could you not use inline CSS? For example: <table border="0"> <tr style="background-image: url(background-image.png);"> <td>blah blah blah</td> <td>blah blah blah</td> </tr> </table> Code (markup): ...is compliant from xHTML 1.0 Transitional up to 4.01 strict. Yeah it's not pretty, but does the job.
It didn't work when I tried it (we are using XHTML 1.0 Transitional, so...) Maybe I screwed it up somehow... back to Firebug to check again. Edit: Okay, you're right. I was just using Firebug and didn't bother to take out the background color in the <TD> elements, so my image was hidden.
How about #CDE8C4? It's just as attention-grabbing & it blends? But anyway, it's okay, *dropping it* lol. Don't get me wrong, I like the green shade we have now, I like that color better than the green on the forum in fact, just saying it doesn't look like it's part of the theme. But it's no big deal!
Ok, how's that for the premium threads in B/S/T? Using an image for the <TR> now. http://forums.digitalpoint.com/payments.php
