I vote for it :) Anything anonymous which is prone to serious abuse should be removed. "Minimize it if you don't like it, is not a solution"

That's strange. I started a thread in BST-->Services-->Advertising section... It is not highlighted.

    What's the problem??

Only threads tagged with WTS are highlighted.

It only applies to WTS threads right now.

I just created a thread in BST and it's highlighted, but it's not stickied and has no "Premium" prefix, why is it?

edit: just checked again and it's stickied and premium'd now, that happened only after about 5 min after posting.. interesting, I thought it'd be instant.

Takes up to 10 minutes to push it to the top (and remove it from the top), there is a cron job that run every 10 minutes.

Shawn, would it be possible to remove the "Similar Threads" option from threads created in the B/S? as i find this simply helps us promote other members threads.

We all would love it ... BUT from a Buyer's point of view how good would that be ?

I am not sure what you mean by that.

    1. You want the buyers to buy your product, not a product that was found through your thread.

    2. Our threads are high lighted, which makes it better free advertising for the other vender.

    Does this make sense?

The point he was trying to make, is that buyers always want to find the best deal. Using the similar threads tool helps them find..well..."similar threads" so they can sniff around and do their market research before committing to buying from one person.

Does anyone actually look at the Similar threads anyway? I'd put money on the majority of threads shown up there being ancient.

    Yes you read it perfectly.

I personally do not look at similar threads. Other Buyers may find it beneficial.

$125 a year seems like a lot, but once I start making some good money through my internet products I just may invest into this.

But it doesn't change the fact that you have to pay $125 up-front. :D
