    Hi guys,
Just wondering if any of you could tell me how you know whether a REGISTERED domain is premium?

    Thanks.

I'm not sure what you mean by premium. If you're trying to decide if a domains premium or not so you can sell it (for example) then a premium domain is just whether or not you think its premium by its value/rarity. Credit.com and GA.com (random examples) would probably be classed as premium domains.

Ask if you have any more questions, or if I took your meaning of premium wrong :)

I mean Premium as in the domains you see when you search for a domain in Godaddy or other registrars. Under the 'availability' bar it has a section with a load of premium domains in. What I'm asking is how I find out if my domain is one of these.

If your domain is listed for sale by your registrar surely they would notify you if it was in the premium category?

GoDaddy in particular seems to sell all their used domains under the title of 'Premium Domains' but correct me if I'm wrong.

one word, generic search terms tend to be called premiums.
