    The reason I'd asked about genre is that you might find an existing domain that is not blog related but with a subdomain or directory it could do very well due to the URL or file structure.

    For example
    sitespromoter.com could become blogs.sitespromoter.com or the likes.

    If you're wanting a good blog about rock bands or something, this example could be useful maybe?

    Just a thought ...

    In fact it's more like a blog portal with some free tools etc. I have some already and need to develop some more..
    That's why I'm not looking for a cheap solution, but I guess I won't find it here hmmm
