This is a very popular Anime video website, it runs on Wordpress 2.3.1, I have not used any pre-packaged databases to maintain the site, most traffic is organic (keep reading below) almost all the videos work, I will guarantee that at the time of the sale, 95% or more of them work, or I will fix them for you.

I let the site go in mid-October, and many videos stopped working, I also had popups running which generated anywhere from $10-30 a day.

Adsense is averaging $8.70 a day this month, and adbrite is averaging about $4.40 across two adzones. I also started running CPX interactive ads on the top skyscraper spot, which is generating around $4.50 a day, only started this a week ago, but it's running well actually did $9 one day, but 4-5 the rest of the time. (no screen shot of this available). Again, when I had popups running, it was making a lot more. Traffic dropped, but has rebounded nicely since I've fixed the videos.

I have recently added a forum, but have not spent any time working on it.

Videos are added primarily by myself, but there is one user of the site that also adds some videos, I have seen other anime sites acquire video updaters / adders for $0.05 a video.

I do spend about $1.00 a day on adwords for some cheap contextual clicks.

Domain is at DomainSite and can be transferred with a quick push, sale also includes 3 other domains that are redirected to this site. I do not know if they provide any of the traffic, this is how it was setup when I bought the site.

The site runs on my own server, it's not too bandwidth intensive and should run well on shared hosting.

Site has an Alexa rank of: 34,998 and the site is PR4

#4 for popular terms (watch anime & watch anime online) as well as good rankings for many others.

There are 489 feedburner RSS / email subscribers.

just an update....I believe the 95% working to be an understatement, there is only one broken series (13 episodes) that I am aware of.....

 

How much time does updating the videos take and is it easy to do? how do you find the new links?
How frequently do you have to update the videos?

It's wordpress, it's very easy.

Time: depends on what needs to be done. Adding a new series is relatively simple, you find a source (veoh, megavideo, myspace, divx) that has the complete series, and creating a post for each video, pasting the embed code provided and checking the catagory box that it belongs in.

Replacing videos can be a little more time consuming. I can average 2-3 videos a minute usually. Most of the series are 12-26 episodes. Some are bigger. I also usually search once a week for the new episodes to the ongoing series. So a new series is usually added in under 10 minutes. I try to add 3-4 new series every couple of days on average.

Again, adding a team of people to add/update them is the ideal, but I have been able to maintain it on my own quite easily.
