    Manchester United
6 Points clear going into the New Year
And season after season have had a better 2nd half to the year

Ronaldo, Rooney, Scholes, Giggs, Solskjaer, Saha etc etc are all in top form at the moment

Manchester United look set to win the Premiership League :)

Vidic, probably the most valuable player of this season alongside Ronaldo IMO!

Vidic has been hot all season and has been very influential in the middle of the defence and has protected Ferdinand too, plus Vidic adds a touch of steel when the defence is under attack

The back 4 has been solid all year and with good subs to come in when needed

Van der Saar in goal is rock solid:cool:

The new Jaap Stam! :), SAF has been looking for someone to replace him since a long time and Vidic is definitely the man!

VDS has been great all season, but the past few matches i've seen a couple of mistakes , but still much better than most of the GKs in the premiership atm.

All said and done; 'We've got our trophy back' :D :D

Sir Alex Ferguson has opted to keep Giuseppe Rossi at Manchester United to aid the Red Devils title push. Rossi has just returned from a loan spell at Newcastle United and will not be retained at St James' Park.

Great News more cover if needed now have Rossi and Henrik Larsen:cool:

Chelsea have big defensive problems with Terry unavailable. They have let in 8 in the last four games. Injuries are plaguing them and although Mourinho says he won't make any panic buys in the January transfer window, I think he will have to. United have played well, despite worries that they lacked the depth to last the full season.

I'd like to see who takes the remaining two CL spots. Bolton and Pompey have played well and it remains to be seen whether they can sustain that form.

As for Liverpool, we need to win away on a more consistent basis. The win against Spurs was like a breath of fresh air.We have a mouth watering clash against Barcelona coming up too.

Did you just register to bash us ? :D

Anyways, points dropped.... missed ample number of chances to win the game, Park was dreadful in the game IMHO!

I am anti Man U, but watched the game today. How he brought Park on for Saha was beyond me.

The reason for bringing Park on was the injury to Saha (during the match)... :(

Not even Rafa is that dumb enuf to make that substitution :p ... let alone the manager who has won an unprecedented treble!!

Manchester United after the completion of the Christmas matches are 6 points clear of Chelsea going into the New Year having played the same number of matches

Manchester United are looking strong and Chelsea are feeling the pressure with mounting injuries to key players and a lack of fire power up front, and they are dropping lots of points

I love manchester United team and I know they will win this year title. They have retain there 6 point lead over chelsea after 0-0 draw at villa park.

Chelsea have big defensive problems since last few matches and they conceded 8 goals in last 5 matches. Also they picked up only 3 points in last 3 mathces. More wrost thing is that they drew 2 matches at home agianst Wigan and Fulham.

Red Devil is back now and history with Manu because Manu is better team in seond half of EPL.

There is still a lot of time left, and Chelsea will come back. Terry is going to return within the next 10 days, and they soon will have their first choice GK and DC.

They may even buy Micah Richards for the DR position, and then it doesn't look too bad for them.

Although, if we play how we did in the first half of the season.... im pretty confident about United lifting the title! :p
