Hi everyone,

I am getting out of the web business and am starting school for nursing this coming year and would like to sell my web ventures and am exiting completely out of this field.

Up for sale is PremadeTemplates.net (excellent keyword domain as well). Just google PREMADE TEMPLATES.

The site needs a bit of SEO work and some definite promotion / marketing efforts put into it. I have unfortunately let it slide for some time and haven't utilized any promotional efforts to start making more $$$ with it.

The traffic is mostly organic, with some referrals. This website has not been my core focus as I have been trying to get into nursing school as well as run a web design company as well. I am also trying to sell that business, but will list it seperately on DP. This auction is exclusive to Digital Point.

The new owner will have contact with me whenever needed over a month, so if questions need to be answered I will still be here to do so.

The first 8 months was really our BETA period. We have been busy finding high end designers to list their templates / premades with the site and really starting to develop the core community and functionality of the marketplace. I haven't spent any money on advertising, someone looking to purchase this website would want to look into that. A medium investment in Adwords or other online advertising avenue would yield results quickly as well.

My skillset is really in design and not in promotion / marketing.

About the Business and the Sale

The sale of PremadeTemplates.net is a one and only opportunity for somebody to take it to the next level. An investment made here will pay back quickly. Our website / marketplace is a place that is looking to bringing all of those premade designers together to offer a huge marketplace of premade girly / chic / website and blog templates. The User Interface - Completely Custom Created and Unique

The user interface for the marketplace and coding has been created specifically for this website. I had purchased a script before called MarketplaceScript but it was so full of bugs that I just hired someone to make something specifically for this site.

Any and all upgrades that you want to make to it can be done by my PHP coder who is extremely competent and knows the site in and out. If you would like to utilize his abilities he would be more than happy to do it for you (at a cost of course).

Technical Support

I have always done all the pre-sales and post sale support myself by email. As sales start to increase you will definitely see an influx in pre and post sale support. You would never need to offer help for actually getting the templates to work, that is between the purchaser and the designer. You would be responsible for forwarding payments to the designers when they request a withdrawal from their account interface. Hiring a few people (even overseas) might be an option for you.

Revenue Details

A few months ago I had incorporated a 25% commission for PremadeTemplates.net on all of the template sales. I have also introduced advertising at a rate of $35 / month through buy / sell ads a few weeks ago. So far we have made a whopping $50 on commissions with this new comission lol. Obviously this can be increased when the traffic is, new methods of promotion as well as getting new designers to list their templates. This would all come into play with a marketing method.

During our BETA period a little more than $4800 in template sales were made, however none of that revenue came to premadetemplates.net as the commission was not introduced then.

Traffic has been pretty consistent for the past 11 months. I have not advertised at all and we usually get around 600 uniques / month just from the search engines.

Are there any pre made templates (designed by you) included in the sale? You may of stated this but a little blurry eyed over on this end.

 

Yes there are a total of 7 templates included that I have created myself. I have PM'd you the links.
