preg_match-plz advice me

    preg_match("/^(.*?)\r?\n\r?\n(.*)/s", $input, $match)

    What this preg_match wil do?
    Please advice me.

    It looks like that you will check the text for returns on some sort..

    But where its used? i have no idea?

    It would appear to remove line breaks and carriage returns, twice.

    Yes,Just now only i found that it is used to remove the line break.
    thanks friends
    and is there any good site to learn basic to learn this patterns.
    I am bit week in this topic and also is there any quiz or competition kind of stuff to learn things.
    I think that will help me a lot .
