Preferred Rate to Submit to Directories

If I was planning to buy 1000 directory submissions, would it be a better strategy in terms of SEO and link building to have 1000 done in the space of a week, or to limit the submissions to a rate of, say, 100/week for 10 weeks?

If you are submitting to free directories, no problem if you submit your site in 1000 directory at a time.
    Because :
-- most of the free directories dont approve the links
( you will find 1000s of links waiitng approval)

-- they may approve at different times, some in the same day, some after week and some after months..

-- not all directories are indexed at a same time :)

MeetHere, TGW is talking about buying links. In which case, it's definitely a good idea to spread the submissions out, because you won't get the situation of so many links languishing in a queue, and most likely they will be on pages that get spidered more frequently as well.
