Preferinces ".com" than other extension specially when we created a blog..etc etc..

Why we prefer ".com" specially in blog than other extension like i.nfo..etc..

    According to Google the TLD has no influence on search results, except GEO TLDs for specific geo targeting.

    Agreed, the only advantage of .com is that it is commercially popular and easy to remember extension.

    I guess it should be
    1. .com
    2. .info
    BTW, .com domain is always easy to remember and for optimization purpose it will help in getting ranked easily.

    If you ever get to the point of wanting to sell the website, having a .com extension will help in that sale. I would personally avoid .info. Despite ICANN's efforts to expand the domain extension marketplace, .com still has the strongest branding ability and as a result buyers are more attracted to it.

    Also, readers who can't remember your domain exactly will most likely assume a .com extension.

    Unless you are doing some domain hacking with country specific extensions, I'd stick with the .com.
