Predicting the future search patterns of users

    We all optimize sites and do the offsite for current searching patterns of users.
    But is there a way to predict the future search patterns of users?
    Is there any tool keeping a watch on upcoming searching pattern so we can predict few keywords and use them on our site as well as do link building?

    You should look into Google Trends and Good Insight. These are decent tools for analyzing keyword trends.
