What tools do you use to check PR in the next update?
I use http://www.iwebtool.com/pagerank_prediction but I think it isn't very reliable. Some my sites have magically hight PR what is not true and it's not gonna be true because there were abandoned.
I'm buying links I want be sure that PR of the site I want to buy link from doesn't fall.
Do you have any other yools like that?

I think a better question is WHY do you even care?

Most of us buy links and PR is as good as any way of guessing the traffic you might get.
Although not an exact science it is a good way of giving value to a link.

Most of those tools don't work.
They can at best give an estimate given the number of back links.

    I wouldn't rely on them.

If you see a site with a lot of indexed pages and a lot of backlinks, (on Google), it is a fair _guess_ that they will not loose the current PR.

You want to predict your PR now or check your PR after the next update. IMO no prediction is accurate and you can do it only for fun:D You can get some idea from it though...

In my case it's always off by 1
So if it 'predicts' PR7 then I know I will be PR6.

That is why I still have a look from time to time, for fun :).

No SEO tool seems that accurate. iWebtool gave one of my sites a very high percentage chance that it would bump up a notch with the last update, but it did not. I wasn't all that disappointed because I realize that it is only a possible indicator and nothing more.

Actually one of my sites www.indianwebdirectory.info was predicted PR4 by iwebtool

but I got zero page rank (I think it may be due to a new domain since my site was started only on august 20)

Google gave it s PR update on october 1-10

But another question is that Iwebtool does not take no of backlinks from your page into account thats why it has been unpredicatble I think so

Precition is like telling the future FALSE
    PR is not important
So why don't you concentrate on more important things like : SERPs positions
    Regards

You can't get the traffic only with high PR's, there are several other factors on which your ranking actually depends.

You wanted to mean "several factors are there for high ranking" or "for high traffic"?
Anyway I agree with you;). yet PR do affect the (google) search engine traffic, but it is not the only factor that affects the traffic to a site. It sometimes depends on the niche and the keywords too. There are many sites that has very less PR yet they have high traffic...But PR do acts like a certificate that your site is ranked well.
