Links 2.0 is predicted pr5 general directory with few outboud links per page.

Please suggest new categories in this thread and have good luck with your sites.

Sorry to say, but those pr prediction tools are pretty much inaccurate and useless. If you search for threads in this forum, you can find a lot of info about that.

Yes they are too high!, if you have correctly understood the supply and demand scenario.

Fixing a price based on some xyz tool!. Your decision making should look into some facts too.

 

Sounds quite reasonable to me. Free with recip, sounds fair. Five bucks for a regular link (lifetime), sounds fair too.

Not sure what the previous posters problem is. Hell, gas costs over 3 dollars a gallon now, and a cup of coffee can cost you 4 or 5 bucks, and you won't pay 5 bucks for permanent link?!

Hey Math20, doing free submissions is a good idea to get some listings in your directory. I bet that you get a large number of submissions (a couple hundred at least) over the next few days from the DP community. Of course, with that many submissions, you may want to start creating alot more sub-categories. Most people will want to find the exact category they want their site in, not something really broad like Shopping or Internet.

 

I'm hoping people in dp will suggest new categories.

Might I suggest an "Online Education", or "Distance Learning" category?

I added both!

 

Some will, but most won't take the time to do so (time they could spend moving on to the next directory to submit their sites). If they have a shopping site or a business site that you don't have a good sub-cat for, they will just submit it to the top category. Trust me, your Shopping, Business, Computer, and Internet categories are going to fill up quickly. Best go ahead and create 15-20 sub-cats in each now.

Also, certain sub-cats will be very popular. Travel, Real Estate, and Directory sub-cats may need to be broken up as they will get a huge number of submissions.
