I just finished developing DebtQuit, a debt consolidation site. All of the pages on the site contain unique content that I personally wrote; I recently added a blog for additional content, linking, etc.

Assume no monetization; a small amount of traffic has been coming in through linkbaiting.

The site and blog use the same Andreas Viklund theme -- you can replace the photograph or remove it to make the blog much more seamless with the rest of the site. The remaining photos are from SXC -- sign up with them to use the supplied photos or swap them out for your own.

DebtQuit is hosted on GoDaddy, the domain registration expires in June 2008. Easy and quick push to your GoDaddy account.

I realize page rank predictions are a bit guesswork, but how solid is a PR 4 prediction for a site/domain that's so new?

It is hard to say what PageRank will be for sure, but if your site is set up before the next update, pages indexed, and linking strategies employed, then attaining PageRank shouldn't be all that difficult.

I always work hard on optimizing my sites right away and have learned that a PR4 ranking is usually within reach.

Yesterday, the tool said the site would be PR4; today it says PR3:

Whatever, 2 or 3 link exchanges with similar sites could help bring that number up too.

 

Is it indexed, it doesn't show up, when I type the name "debt quit" into the search bar?
At PR 4 (Predicted) does it rank for any terms?

 

Clarification: Yahoo has one page indexed, but I cannot verify Google or MSN just yet.

Keep in mind this site is 8 days old. It has been optimized for debt consolidation, personal finance, and credit. All of the ads from Google are matching the content which pretty much covers personal finance topics.

Also, this site is quite small and not likely to dominate the SERPs unless you plow a lot of time and money into working on that. If the site does not sell, it will remain part of my portfolio and I'll keep adding content, tweaking the site, and building links.

Are the blog postings automated? If so, what tool?

No, the blog postings are written by me and added by me. Through WordPress, you can schedule your entries, but there isn't anything about the site that has been automated other than the ads served up by Google.
