I'm not in the business of being fair to terrorists. That's yo-yo's department. Hamas was and is a terrorist organization whose charter calls for the destruction of Israel. You'll have to source something about "Hamas softened their stance toward Israel and even hinted to work towards a two-state solution during their election campaign" before I'll accept that. The elections harmed any chance for continued peace talks. If palestinians are tired of living in poverty, they should not elect terrorist groups to their government.
LOL... you don't? You think no palestinians were forced from their homes or land to create Israel? No wonder you seem to have no idea what you're talking about
Here some *good* read for you. Might give you an Idea what I am talking about- http://www.masada2000.org/historical.html But I am sure, matterials like this would have been provided to you countless time. Balme it to stiff brain, I suppose.
I'll have to dig for that. Read about it and heard about it from others so I thought this was a common knowledge
I was just at that link yesterday. An excellent resource! of particular interest: Every time Israel has offered compassion, such as this case AFTER being attacked and winning a war, when they give land back, it's viewed as a sign of weakness. Israel isn't rewarded with peace, they are rewarded with more of the same. Israel needs to retake these lands and THIS TIME, no more appeasement. Appeasement doesn't work. It doesn't work with Arabs, it didn't work with North Korea. It just doesn't work.
Palestina was mainly populated by different nomads in 19th and arabs even didn't want that piece of land. Today called palestinians and israelis started to populate the land at almost the same time. Obviously israelis had more success with this. Not to say they then won several wars.... And when arab world is screaming how israelis took their land ... don't be kidding me. Look at the map. Palestine and Lebanon are just toys in hands of bigger muslim powers in middle east. Unfortunately civilians die at the end. You should ask Iran and Syria why are they using their brothers and sisters and why they don't confront Israel by themselves.
I'd just like to confirm it. It wouldn't surprise me...this is what liberals here do during elections. Angry liberals with do nothing positions until it's time for elections, then suddenly they become centrists <cough, Kerry...cough Billary> None-the-less, they elected a terrorist group for their government. They made the wrong choice, they have to live with it. I'm sure they can see right through hamas like rationale people here can see through angry liberals looking to portray themselves centrists.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palestinian_refugee Perhaps now you'll understand why they aren't exactly happy.
This was another excellent example of dislike on both sides equally from yo!. No pro-palestinian posts here, let's move along. Yep, they are angry that lands they stole were taken back and people were given the choice to stay or leave. And many left to go fight with the Arabs to wipe Israel off the map. Bad choice. Israel won and yet muslims in Israel enjoy freedoms unlike other Arab countries, including free elections. Who stole what from whom? Israel was Israel before islam was invented.
This happens everytime to any country seeking for peace. Israel isnt a terrorist country so ofcourse they want world to be a better place to live for everyone. Yepp it just doesnt work, We also witness that with Pakistan. It never worked.
Very much agreed! Of course, yo-yo (in his quest to dislike both sides equally) thinks Israel are terrorists: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=102717 Must be part of the equal dislike for all that he hopes people will buy off into
yo-yo : It all started in 19th century ... check out the 1930s in middle east .... you keep blinding peoples eyes with 1948 .... It was all there earlier !
LOL.. now even the vatican is condeming israel.. they must hate jews too Vatican condemns Israel for attacks on Lebanon The Vatican on Friday strongly deplored Israel's strikes on Lebanon, saying they were "an attack" on a sovereign and free nation. Vatican Secretary of State Cardinal Angelo Sodano said Pope Benedict and his aides were very worried that the developments in the Middle East risked degenerating into "a conflict with international repercussions." "In particular, the Holy See deplores right now the attack on Lebanon, a free and sovereign nation, and assures its closeness to these people who already have suffered so much to defend their independence," he told Vatican Radio. Israel struck Beirut airport again on Friday and bombed Lebanese roads, power supplies and communication networks in a widening campaign after Hizbollah guerrillas seized two Israeli soldiers and killed eight. Sodano said the Vatican condemned both "terroristic attacks" and military reprisals. Hizbollah, which wants to trade its captives for prisoners held in Israel, has showered rockets across the frontier in its fiercest bombardment since 1996 when Israel launched a 17-day blitz against southern Lebanon and Hizbollah But Sodano reserved his harshest words for Israel. "The right of defence on the part of a state does not exempt it from its responsibility to respect international law, particularly regarding the safeguarding of civilian populations," he said. http://asia.news.yahoo.com/060714/3/2n5ti.html
Since when does anyone care about what the pope has to say? And who is he to dictate how wars are fought? He needs to stick to the donation basket and leave the fighting to the soldiers.
I'd also like to give a big F you to the Pope. If his little holy castle was bombed, or some of his buddies were taken hostage, what do you think he would be saying then? Exactly.
Especially yo! mtv raps, who has more than made it clear he absolutely hates Christians (and Jews). Which way is the wind blowing today? That's probably the kindest thing he's ever said about a Christian.
